The BIGG ELIMINATION TRIBUTE PROJECT is a module-based training to help establish replicable frameworks for HCV prevention & education using harm reduction strategies.

The overall goal is to build attendees’ capacity, confidence, and knowledge to integrate responsive hepatitis C (HCV) screening, testing, linkage-to-care/cure, and support programs into existing infrastructures.

The training follows the hepatitis C cure cascade.

Module 1 - HCV Prevention & Education - UnDx

The purpose of this module is to establish a replicable framework for HCV prevention and education programs including risk/harm reduction strategies.

Module 2 - HCV Screening and Testing - Dx

The purpose of this module is to break down the various HCV testing options minding the necessary legal documents and reporting codes.

Module 3 - Vaccination

The purpose of this module is to orient participants to the role of hepatitis A and B vaccination practices in the care of people living with HCV.

Module 4 - Staging

The purpose of this module is to illustrate the process and timeline associated with staging people living with HCV.

Module 5 - Treatment

The purpose of this module is to explain the HCV treatment process and clarify HCV treatment goals.

Module 6 - Cure

The purpose of this module is to inform participants of the true definition of HCV cure and vital programmatic steps to maximize opportunities for cure.

Module 7 - Wellness & Support

The purpose of this module is to identify key program support structures that promote wellness, prevent re-infection, and support patients with advanced liver disease.
