Empowering People to be Ambassadors of their Own Health Since 1997.

Make Your Choices

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.

Being diagnosed with hepatitis C is a life-altering event. It’s OK to be scared.

Things that you once believed may no longer hold true. It’s OK to be scared. Fear is absolutely a valid emotion given the situation and it is a feeling that you should not ignore. However, you cannot deny your new reality. To get started, you must first accept that, whether you like it or not, you are on a journey.

You will be bombarded with information and advice from your healthcare providers, your friends and family, from strangers on the internet, and from countless other sources. It is essential that you take ownership of your own healthcare decisions, and in order to do so, you must be informed and you must be a proactive ambassador for your own health.

Chronic hepatitis C is a different experience for each person living with the disease.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer for optimal disease management.
